Iconic Pop Culture Characters represented by their Bald Heads
What does The Simpsons, Breaking Bad, The Goonies, Family Guy and Star Wars have in common? If you can't find the connection between these famous TV shows, Mr. Peruca will help you. Brazilian illustrator, designer and art director based in London, Mr. Peruca has created a series of iconic and famous characters representing by their bald heads. The series is called "Notorious Baldies" and it is really fun trying to guess who is who in these illustrations. The characters that were inspiration for Mr. Peruca are known for their lack of hair and they are our favorite famous personalities in today's pop culture. For example Yoda, that wise, little green Jedi captured the hearts of movie fans around the world after making his big screen debut in 1980's "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back". Or our favorite Charlie Brown, the wish-washy child hero of the newspaper comic strip "Peanuts." Also, the bald head of Gollum from "The Lord of the Rings" and baby bald head of Stevie from the amazing cartoon "Family guy" are really funny to spot here. Besides television, movie and newspaper comic strip characters, Mr. Peruca haven't forgot about the bald heads of some real life characters. For example Mikhail Gorbachev, a former Soviet statesman and his part bald part grey head. The most recognizable head from the "Notorious Baldies" is Walter White, also known as Hartwell, and his bald head with glasses on it. The most popular TV show in 2013 "Breaking Bad" is obviously Mr. Peruca's current inspiration, since he has a whole project called the same way as the famous show. His other projects like "Isometric Heroes", "When Two Became One", "Black&Yellow&White" and many other are equally interesting and funny. So, let's take a look at his funny illustrations.
